Nine months ago, still sitting in my old house, I was really bored. I wanted to make something, as I've always liked crafts, but I didn't know what to make. I started a craft blog, and called it "Creativity" I had, maybe two, maybe three followers. I never posted. But then, when I began to read Iona's Blog, and try out her tips, I slowly became in to Photography, and eventually changed "Creativity" to "Sunlit Photography" I was bad at first. I'll admit that. In fact, I was horrible! Some of the pictures I posted just amaze me with how, in 8 month
this:

could become this:

pretty good, not to toot my own horn, but compared to thhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaat?!

2011 Photo Recap:

March. I started my blog in March, and lets just say that I was reaaaaaally bad. I did take several OK pictures, like the above.

April. I was getting better. Slowly, but surely.

May. Ehhhhhh.... I was kind of lazy in May, and so my photos lacked improvement.

June. June brought a lot of changes: I got a new camera, renamed the blog Sunlit Photography, and started to get good at photography.

 July. I didn't take many pictures in July, because of the move, but I think that July was around the time that I started to take really good pictures.

August. In all of August, I only posted one picture. Sad, I know.

September. Once again, I didn't post much.

October. Because of the beautiful leaves in October, I went out and took photos almost daily. I have way too many good photos from October.

November. In November I posted the most photos I had ever posted in a single month. And the least posts. I traveled a lot in November (but not very far), the top was taken in Chicago, and the above was taken in Xxxxxxxx, a town 2 hours away from where I live.

December. In December I spent a lot of time perfecting my Bokeh shots, until they were just about perfect.

It's strange how quickly I learned to take good pictures- and I'm still learning.

I'm Dreaming of a White New Year...

 Dreaming. It is really sunny and warm here..... contrary to all the other winters I've spent in this state. The only things around our house resembling snow are those two paper snowflakes. The photo above was edited by my (older) sister M. The original;

M also made some graphics that I want to show you guys (my sister is really talented) :

soon it will be two-thousand twelve

 two thousand eleven is coming to a halt. contrary to other people, i love the week in between christmas and new years. I i love the snow (not very much this year, though), i love the crazy sales were i can get candy and chocolate and other stuff for cheap, i love enjoying the last few days before two thousand twelve.

 we baked these snowflake cupcakes the day before yesterday and they're delicious. i will definitely make them again.

we have tinsel up, a sort of new years decoration. it's unfair that people decorate wildly for christmas but never for the new year.

the christmas season is almost over

 It is sad that Christmas is coming to an end... last bokeh of the season. The decor is going to be taken down, and I'm going to switch this design tomorrow. Now it's already the New Year Season.

I got the helicopter I really wanted! I also got fingerless gloves, a photo album, smencils, and chocolate. I'm probably going to get the photojojo stuff for New Year (I generally get half my presents on Christmas and half on New Year because my parents are from a country where they got presents on New Year instead of Christmas.)

 Merry Christmas Eve! Today I took pictures of our tree, baked cupcakes, made paper snowflakes and helped my mom make a Christmas Dinner of Beef Tenderloin. The picture above is one of my all-time favorites (that I've taken).

it's almost christmas

 Wow. Time flies. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and it's only snowed an inch. Really. You guys should check out this website- it's really amusing and is perfect to look at today and tomorrow.

These are the gifts I got my family- from top, clockwise: In blue wrapping, yoga mat strap for my mom; in silver box, sachets for my sister; pencil case for my sister; paper yo-yo (most awesome thing in the world) for my sister; expensive chocolate for my mom.
